The polished rod is the uppermost joint in the string of sucker rods used in a rod pump artificial-lift system. The polished rod enables an efficient hydraulic seal to be made around the reciprocating rod string. Polished rod is an important link for connecting between the pumping unit and rod string in the oil well. We offer two types of polished rods formulated from different alloys: AISI 4130 and AISI 4140.
Our polished rods are made from AISI 4130 and 4140 alloy steel.
