Coiled
Tubing Introduction
Coiled Tubing
(CT), also called endless tubing or reeled tubing, is a long, continuous length
of pipe wound on a spool. The pipe is straightened prior to pushing into a
wellbore and rewound to coil the pipe back onto the transport and storage
spool.
Used as
a well-intervention device, coiled tubing techniques offer several key benefits
over alternative well-intervention technologies. The ability to work safely
under live well conditions, with a continuous string, enables fluids to be
pumped at any time regardless of the position or direction of travel. This is a
significant advantage in many applications. Installing an electrical conductor
or hydraulic conduit further enhances the capability of a coiled tubing string
and enables relatively complex intervention techniques to be applied safely.
Our
coiled tubing is produced by API Spec 5ST monogrammed facility in China. The
coiled tubing we supply ranges from 1” od to 3-1/2”od and the max length of our
coiled tubing could be up to 8000 meters per spool. The steel grade of our
coiled tubing includes CT70, CT80, CT90, CT100 and CT110.
Please
provide od, wall thickness, steel grade and length of the coiled tubing when you
inquiry.
