All the technical parameters and properties of the Model CD and CDZ series elevators are in conformity with the requirements GB/T 19190 and API Spec 8C.

The CD and CDZ series side door elevators are mainly composed of the body, side door and other parts. The side door is connected with the body by shaft and rotates around the shaft to open and close the elevator. When the side door closes it is automatically locked tightly with the body through the upper and lower lock pegs. Press down the handle of lock peg and pull outward, the side door will open. A dual safety iron block is fixed on top of the body due to which the door cannot open or close when the elevator being lifted. Only when there is no iron block on the load bearing surface of the body can the door be opened freely.

For the safety of lifting and/or lowering the pipes, each elevator is fitted with a pair of safety pegs. After placing the bails of elevator links into the ear bores at both sides of the elevator body, insert the safety pegs to prevent the elevator links off the elevator and the safety operation is ensured.
